Your guide shapes the stories and the focus around what your party loves — from first-time readers to know-it-all superfans, young and old. No prior knowledge needed, and everyone leaves with a few new wand-erful facts.
Our guides are trained actors. Expect characters, cliffhangers and a few surprises along the way.
Add the famous Platform 9¾ photo stop at King's Cross Station for the perfect finale (+£50).
Celebrating something? Every booking can include a free, personalised acceptance letter — and your guide is briefed for the occasion.

A very in-depth tour of London — places you would not know even existed. Our guide was excellent, very engaging and clearly spoken. Thoroughly recommend.
This tour was so much fun! Our guide kept us laughing the entire time, was extremely knowledgeable about Harry Potter and London history, and kept us engaged with trivia and fun facts.
Some of the sites we visited were actually used in the films, and some inspired the films and books. Would recommend to anyone who has seen the movies.

Everything you need to know before you gather your group
Private tours are for up to 10 people — a couple, a family or a small group, all with your own actor-guide. Planning for 11 or more? Our dedicated group tours have their own rates and one simple invoice.
For couples and families, a private tour is a £150 booking fee (£180 in peak season) plus £19 per adult and £17 per child — so two adults comes to £188, and under-5s go free. Use the calculator on this page for an instant price. Bringing 11 or more? Our group tours have their own rates.
Yes. Private tours run on the date and time that suit you — past tours have started anywhere from around 9am to 7pm — subject to guide availability and our scheduled public slots. The earlier you book, the more choice you'll have, as popular dates and weekends fill up first.
Our standard route doesn't, because King's Cross is easy to reach on your own. But on a private tour you can add King's Cross Station and the famous Platform 9¾ photo stop as a finale for £50.
Most private tours begin in the centre of Leadenhall Market (near Bank and Monument stations) and finish at Borough Market by London Bridge, taking in the City of London and the South Bank. We can adjust the meeting point to suit your group — you'll get exact details when you book.
Absolutely. Because the tour is yours alone, your guide can keep little ones entertained and take it at your pace. It's a 2.4-mile walk over about two hours, so very small legs may tire — under-5s go free and babies are welcome without a ticket. The route is step-free and pushchair-friendly throughout.
We love a celebration. Every private tour can include a free personalised acceptance letter — addressed by name and sent as a printable PDF with your booking, which makes a wonderful surprise reveal for a gift. Your guide is briefed in advance for birthdays and anniversaries, and we happily accommodate marriage proposals, adjusting the route to end wherever feels most meaningful. There's no extra charge for any of it.
Private tours have a tiered cancellation policy: cancel 31 or more days ahead for a 5% fee, 7–30 days ahead for 25%, 3–6 days ahead for 50%, and within 1–2 days no refund is available. Need to move your date? Get in touch as early as you can and we'll always do our best to help.
