No. Tour for Muggles is an independent, actor-led Harry Potter walking tour through central London. The Warner Bros. Studio Tour is a separate indoor attraction showing sets and props at Leavesden, about 20 miles outside the city. Ours takes you to the real streets and buildings used as filming locations — and the places that inspired the books. Many visitors happily do both on the same trip.
Yes — plenty. Our two-hour walk visits 12 filming and inspiration locations across the City of London and the South Bank. Leadenhall Market, the Geometric Staircase at St Paul's Cathedral, Southwark Bridge, the Millennium Bridge and Borough Market were all used in the Harry Potter films.

No. J.K. Rowling confirmed in 2020 that Diagon Alley has no real-world location, so any tour promising you “the real Diagon Alley” is mistaken. We take you only to genuine filming locations and the places that inspired the books, and we're always honest about which is which.
Not at all. Lifelong fans get a huge amount from it, but the tour is also full of London history, architecture and storytelling that anyone enjoys. Even the most devoted fans usually leave with a few new wand-erful facts.
Our public walking tour is £19 per adult and £17 per child (aged 5–11), and under-5s go free. All prices include VAT.

Public tours have a 24-hour cancellation policy: cancel at least 24 hours before your start time for a full refund, including any transaction fees. Changes or cancellations can't be made within 24 hours. Private tours have a separate tiered policy — see the private tour page for details.

The tour begins in the centre of Leadenhall Market, outside Pizza Express (nearest stations Bank and Monument, about a 7-minute walk), and finishes at Borough Market by London Bridge.
Public tours run daily at 11am and 2:30pm, except Mondays — though Mondays do run during UK school holidays and from 20 June to 20 August. Our Dark Arts evening tour runs on Tuesdays at 6:30pm.
About two hours, covering 2.4 miles (just under 4km) at a gentle pace. It's entirely on foot with no tube journey, and the route is step-free throughout.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes early. If you're running behind, call us (don't email) and we'll do our best to help you catch up — your confirmation e-owl even lists the upcoming stops. Unfortunately we can't offer refunds for lateness.
The tour runs rain or shine — we haven't quite perfected our weather charms! We only cancel in the event of a Met Office Red Weather Warning, in which case you'll receive a full refund. Bring comfy shoes and perhaps an umbrella.
Not on the standard walking tour — King's Cross is easy to reach on your own, so we spend our time on the harder-to-find locations. On a private tour, though, you can add King's Cross Station and the famous Platform 9¾ photo stop as a finale.
There are no scheduled breaks, but public toilets are available along the route — we recommend eating beforehand, and Borough Market at the finish is a wonderful spot for food. Well-behaved dogs are very welcome on the tour.
Yes. The full 2.4-mile route is step-free and takes place on flat streets, pavements and covered market areas, making it wheelchair- and pushchair-friendly. Please let us know any accessibility requirements when you book and we'll make sure you're well looked after.
Absolutely — families love it. We recommend it for ages 7 and up as it involves a fair walk, though every child is different and parents know best. Under-5s go free and babies are welcome without a ticket.
Our tours are delivered in English. Our guides are happy to speak slowly or repeat sections on request, and you're welcome to quietly translate for your group as you go.

Yes — our Dark Arts evening tour runs on Tuesdays at 6:30pm. It follows the same route as the day tour but with an entirely darker script, exploring the villains, folklore and grisly London history after dark. Recommended for ages 10 and over.
